Animal Rescue Need to re-home your pet?  At Fuzzy Rescue, we know that sometimes unfortunate things can happen to individuals and families in such a way that they are not able to care for their beloved pets.  We do our best to help as many pets as we can, but we receive far more requests for help than we can accommodate.  At the time of intake, the dog and/or cat MUST be spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations.  We will need all of the pet's paperwork, including AKC registration (if any), certificate of sterility, records from your veterinarian, etc.  If you can write something about the dog and/or cat, it will help us to find him or her the right home.  While we do not require any monetary payment when giving up a pet, we do appreciate any donations to help defray costs of food, shelter, and veterinarian bills. Rescued a cat or dog? Fuzzy Rescue is a foster network and at the moment we do not have a facility to shelter animals. If we have space availability within our foster network and the necessary funds, we will do our best to take in the animal regardless of age, sex, breed, size, and health. Fuzzy Rescue accepts all breeds; we are NOT a breed-specific rescue organization. While we do not require any monetary payment when bring to us a rescued animal, we do appreciate any donations to help defray costs of food, shelter, and veterinarian bills. In the meantime, you can try to find the dog or cat a new home on your own.  We have some information here.  Please be sure to have your pet spayed/neutered and brought up-to-date on vaccinations BEFORE you place him or her into a new home.  We also recommend that you ask for an adoption fee.  Please do not place a "free to good home" ad, as there are unscrupulous characters who will "con" people out of free pets only to try to make a profit by selling them to laboratory research or dog fighting rings. Please don't let that happen to your pet.
